Job Opportunity: Retail Operations Supervisor

In this role, you will oversee the operations of 20 stores, leading a team of Business Development Managers and a back-office team of approximately 130 employees. As a representative of Swatch Retail, you will act as an entrepreneur, taking charge of the organization and management of our retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility and control of turnover, budget, and sales indicators, including target setting for each store
  • Optimization and development of processes and structures
  • Analysis and preparation of reports and statistics to monitor the development of the distribution network
  • Human resources management, support, and motivation of approximately 9 employees (direct reports)
  • Assistance with the recruitment of management staff
  • Intervention at the POS in case of personnel issues (in collaboration with HR and Retail Area Managers)
  • Oversight of stock and inventory management for the stores
  • Conduct regular store visits in the market
  • Control of marketing expenses and cooperation in the planning and implementation of marketing activities both inside and outside the stores
  • Management and further development of the Retail Trainer program, assisting in the expansion and optimization of the internal development program
  • Expansion of the distribution network, including all administrative and organizational tasks related to the renovation and opening of new Swatch stores and Pop-Up stores (involving business plan preparation, budgeting, planning, etc.)
  • Supervision and negotiation of contracts for the stores
  • Collaboration with the Retail Development & Visual Merchandising team to oversee related projects (store renovations, VM guidelines, etc.)

Profile Requirements

The ideal candidate is a retail specialist with a higher business education and several years of experience in a similar management role within the retail sector, preferably in fashion or lifestyle. We seek a dynamic and innovative individual who can quickly adapt to various tasks and situations, displaying strong perceptual and social competence. Your organizational talent and flexibility will enable you to stay calm, pragmatic, and solution-oriented even in hectic situations. As an enthusiastic and communicative role model, you will encourage and motivate your team toward achieving common targets and objectives. You should possess a strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and excellent negotiation skills, with a focus on results and customer satisfaction.

Professional Language Requirements

Fluency in German and French, along with proficiency in English, is required. Knowledge of Italian would be an advantage.
