The Swiss Red Cross (SRK) Canton Aargau, a prestigious organization with over 130 employees and around 1,000 volunteers, is dedicated to providing relief, social integration, and educational services to those in need. Guided by the principles of the Red Cross, we are looking for a motivated individual to lead our efforts in making a meaningful impact in the Canton of Aargau.

Key Responsibilities

As the Head of Relief & Social Integration, you will:

• Lead and mentor seven team leaders, overseeing a service area that includes 50 employees and 250 volunteers.
• Manage two outpatient day structures located in Frick and Aarau, along with the Red Cross relief service and the youth Red Cross initiatives.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused services in line with Red Cross standards.
• Continuously develop service offerings to meet evolving community needs.
• Lead area-specific and overarching projects that align with our strategic and operational goals.
• Participate as a member of the management team in cross-departmental leadership tasks and represent SRK both internally and externally.

Your Profile

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• A qualification in healthcare, social work, or care at the HF, FH, or university level.
• Solid leadership experience in both theoretical and practical settings, along with sound business management knowledge.
• Experience with project management and proficient ICT/ERP skills.
• A strong command of key performance indicators and a results-oriented approach.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a knack for inspiring others towards shared goals.
• A good network within the Canton of Aargau is a plus.
