We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader to build and steer our newly formed Outbound Transportation & Last Mile Delivery Services team. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of how we deliver our products to customers across all our channels, including e-commerce, B2B wholesale, and our retail stores. You will be responsible for developing the global omnichannel strategy for outbound transportation and last-mile delivery, ensuring a premium experience for our customers, and driving efficiency and innovation within our logistics network. This is a global role based at On Labs in Zurich, and you will report directly to the Director of Distribution & Logistics.
Your Mission
- Enhance Customer Experience: Own the delivery journey from our warehouses to the customer's doorstep, with the core mission of enhancing the customer experience and delivering the "WOW" every time.
- Develop and Execute the Global Omnichannel Delivery Strategy: Define the vision and roadmap for our outbound transportation network, including last-mile delivery, to support our global growth across all channels.
- Define and Implement Our Last-Mile Delivery Operating Model: Establish principles, processes, and systems to ensure a seamless and efficient last-mile delivery experience for our omnichannel customers.
- Build and Manage a Multi-Carrier Network: Collaborate with procurement to develop a portfolio of regional and global carriers to optimize for service, cost, and speed.
- Set the Standard for Delivery Excellence: Define and implement global standards, SOPs, SLAs, and KPIs for last-mile delivery, establishing a framework for performance monitoring and reporting across all channels.
- Drive Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Constantly seek opportunities to optimize our transportation network, reduce costs, and explore innovative delivery models.
- Act as the Global Subject Matter Expert: Develop and share best practices to build outbound transportation competencies within regional and local logistics teams.
- Collaborate Across the Organization: Work closely with various cross-functional stakeholders in our Global Operations and Commercial teams to ensure seamless carrier integration and drive strategic initiatives.
Your Story
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in logistics, focusing on outbound transportation and last-mile delivery in an omnichannel environment, ideally in a fast-growing global retail, fashion, or sportswear company.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful transportation strategies and managing complex carrier networks.
- Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced leader with a passion for building and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong communicator and collaborator, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Google tools, with experience in Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Post Purchase Platforms (e.g., Narvar), and relevant logistics technologies.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
