Head of Operations

A key role in the operational center of a successful, value-oriented company with a clear growth dynamic. In this position, you will take on responsibility, lead teams, and ensure the sustainable performance of a modern production site.

For over 150 years, the Bardusch Group has represented professional textile services, ensuring hygiene and safety in the processing of workwear and flat linen. As one of the leading providers in the industry, we are recognized for our quality, reliability, and strong customer orientation. The utilization of the latest technologies enables a sustainable approach to resource management. Over 700 motivated employees provide reliable services across various locations in Switzerland. We are now seeking to fill the position at our Siders location, which employs around 100 individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational processes at the Siders site, including production, logistics, technology, infrastructure, and projects.
• Ensure a seamless supply to customers in line with a "Just in Time" approach, guaranteeing the highest level of on-time delivery.
• Initiate and lead projects focused on continuous improvement and process optimization—particularly in logistics and the processing of workwear and flat linen.
• Work collaboratively with your team to ensure smooth coordination across various operational areas.
• Achieve defined goals regarding productivity, costs, quality, and on-time delivery (KPI).
• Establish an efficient, market-oriented organizational structure while fostering employee development in a trusting environment that aligns with Bardusch values.

Your Qualifications

• Technical foundational education (in metal, textile, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering), with further education in project and process management being ideal.
• Essential knowledge in lean management.
• Several years of leadership experience in an industrial environment, with a proven track record of successfully implementing projects, particularly in change and transformation processes.
• Structured, analytical, and entrepreneurial approach to thinking and acting.
• Strong motivational skills to inspire and engage employees, while embodying the company's values.
• Organizational strength to maintain an overview in demanding situations and contribute operationally as needed.
• Confident communication skills in French; good knowledge of German is a plus.
