Head of Metrology/Test Engineering
Your Main Tasks Will Include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing the Metrology Engineering team (currently 6 employees).
- Collaborating in cross-functional project teams, including development, product management, and quality assurance.
- Reviewing requirements, designing and developing test setups and procedures, executing system tests, identifying and analyzing issues that arise during testing, and creating test documentation.
- Managing and enhancing the Metrology Engineering test infrastructure with a focus on automation.
- Validating and verifying tools and products according to various standards, including MIL-STDs.
- Ensuring development projects are executed according to our development process and optimizing this process concerning Metrology Engineering.
- Collaborating with the Safran Group and external test facilities.
- Participating in the development and implementation of the R&D Strategy.
Your Profile:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field from ETH/UNI/FH.
- A leadership personality with experience in leading a team in Metrology/Test Engineering.
- An analytical mindset combined with a solution-oriented approach to identify and efficiently solve complex challenges.
- A proven understanding of technology (optics/physics, electronics, software, and mechanics) and technological trends within the field of test engineering.
- Experience with requirements engineering (V-model) and application engineering.
- Experience with test automation.
- Fluency in both German and English.
