Head of Metrology/ Test Engineering
Your Main Tasks Will Include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing the Metrology Engineering team, currently consisting of 6 employees.
- Collaborating in cross-functional project teams involving development, product management, and quality assurance.
- Reviewing requirements, designing and developing test setups and procedures, executing system tests, identifying and analyzing issues during testing, and creating test documentation.
- Managing and enhancing the Metrology Engineering test infrastructure with a focus on automation.
- Overseeing the validation and verification of tools and products in accordance with various standards, such as MIL-STDs.
- Ensuring development projects are executed in alignment with our development process while optimizing it regarding Metrology Engineering.
- Collaborating with the Safran Group and external test facilities.
- Participating in the formulation and implementation of the R&D Strategy.
Your Profile:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field (ETH/UNI/FH).
- A leadership personality with experience in leading a team in Metrology / Test Engineering.
- An analytical mindset combined with a solution-oriented approach to efficiently tackle complex challenges.
- A proven understanding of technology, including optics, physics, electronics, software, and mechanics, as well as technological trends within the field of test engineering.
- Experience with requirements engineering (V-model) and application engineering.
- Experience with test automation.
- Fluency in both German and English.
