Position: Head of Mathematics and Computer Science
We invite you to join our dynamic team as the Head of Mathematics and Computer Science, with a full-time 2-year contract starting in August 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Provide academic leadership for the Mathematics & Computer Science department across lower secondary, IGCSE, and IBDP.
- Inspire and mentor staff to uphold high standards in teaching, assessment, and student outcomes.
- Deliver engaging and rigorous instruction in Mathematics and/or Computer Science.
- Drive curriculum innovation by integrating digital tools and best practices.
- Oversee assessment, departmental planning, timetabling, and resource management.
- Foster collaboration among colleagues, students, and the wider community.
- Contribute to school trips, extracurricular activities, and whole-school events.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Subject-related degree and PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven success in teaching IGCSE and IBDP Mathematics and/or Computer Science.
- Strong leadership experience or a demonstrated ability to lead a department.
- Familiarity with international curricula and multilingual learners.
- A passion for education, innovation, and creating inclusive learning environments.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
