Job Opportunity: Head of Marketing / Member of the Executive Board

The SMP is the national umbrella organization for Swiss milk producers. Under the Swissmilk brand, it conducts national marketing for Swiss milk and dairy products. As part of a succession plan, we are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial-minded, and persuasive personality to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the entire marketing area of Swissmilk.
• Ensure a strong positioning of Swiss milk and dairy products through effective marketing activities.
• Integrate brand management, campaigning, content, digital channels, and live communication.
• Address themes of sustainability, health, and enjoyment to create a powerful overall presence.
• Recognize market and consumer trends and set appropriate strategic priorities.
• Strengthen the presence of Swiss milk and dairy products at the point of sale.
• Develop strategies with industry players and retail to enhance the existing marketing mix.
• Manage relevant budgets and maintain communication with stakeholders in Swiss dairy farming.
• Actively shape the further development of the SMP as a member of the executive board.
• Possibility to take on additional responsibilities as co-managing director of the SMP, depending on suitability.

Qualifications

• A higher education in marketing, business administration, or a comparable field.
• Several years of leadership and marketing experience.
• Solid experience in the food industry and an affinity for Swiss agriculture.
• A convincing track record in brand management.
• Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking with a pragmatic approach.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams toward common goals.
• Very good German and French language skills are mandatory.
