Position Overview
As the Head of International Expansion, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strategic relationships in Europe, the UAE, and the US. You will serve as a crucial bridge for companies seeking market access, funding, and positioning across the Swiss, US, and UAE ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on structuring tailored investment and go-to-market solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs.
- Drive, generate, and manage a robust deal pipeline, targeting CHF 1m+ in revenue over a 12-month period through co-investments, strategic partnerships, and platform engagements.
- Collaborate internally with legal, product, and operations teams to structure and onboard new partners while ensuring a seamless client journey.
- Take the lead in targeting and converting institutional clients, helping LEVA deepen its presence among more sophisticated investor segments.
- Mentor team members in business development and other departments, promoting knowledge sharing, a commercial mindset, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Support the management team in preparing and executing the company’s next fundraising round, including equity and/or debt financing strategies, investor engagement, and pitch preparation.
Your Qualifications
- Over 5 years of previous experience in a start-up environment, ideally working closely with the GCC and US market.
- Previous experience in entrepreneurial finance and fundraising.
- Strong connections to Tier 1 players in the Venture Capital and Private Equity ecosystem.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making, metrics-driven performance management, and customer-centricity.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proven track record of success in building and leading high-performing customer success teams, driving customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
