Job Opportunity: Head of Internal Content & Channels

We are seeking an experienced internal communications expert, adept at storytelling through innovative mediums, to lead the strategic communication efforts at On. Reporting to the Global Head of Internal Communications, the Head of Internal Content & Channels will be instrumental in shaping our editorial strategy to effectively engage our internal audience.

This hands-on role will oversee the production of creative content encompassing company-wide events, announcements, presentations, and other strategic initiatives. Additionally, the successful candidate will spearhead complex innovation workstreams to enhance and optimize the channels through which we communicate.

This position is deeply embedded in On’s unique and entrepreneurial culture, requiring collaboration with various teams and leaders to streamline information flow and bring impactful messages to life.

Your Mission

  • Lead the creative arm of the Internal Comms team, focusing on concept development, editorial planning, narrative creation, and production.
  • Collaborate closely with internal creative teams and external vendors to produce high-quality video and multimedia content.
  • Craft messages, speeches, and presentations for global audiences on key topics related to our strategy and culture.
  • Drive innovation strategy for company-wide communication channels by identifying new formats and guiding them from proposal to adoption.

Your Story

We desire a candidate who not only possesses a passion for internal communication and culture but also brings the following qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in creative, multi-disciplinary roles within Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related fields.
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to identify compelling stories and convey them clearly through various platforms including talking points, slides, videos, and more.
  • A track record of thought leadership, offering innovative ideas backed by the vision and strategic know-how to bring them to fruition.
  • Creativity, with expertise in at least one relevant audiovisual medium (e.g., video, audio, graphic design, animation) and a passion for brainstorming.
  • Technical proficiency, including the ability to integrate measurement into editorial strategies, and familiarity with tools such as Workvivo, Slack, and G-Suite apps is a plus.
  • A collaborative mindset, enjoying the leadership of large, cross-functional projects while navigating ambiguity with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong motivation as a self-starter; eager to acquire new skills and willing to engage in detailed tasks.
  • Industry knowledge, staying updated with media trends and applying them creatively to engage employees from diverse backgrounds.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
