Head of Digital & AI
The Head of Digital & AI will spearhead BRS’s global digital transformation by seamlessly integrating data intelligence, artificial intelligence, and digital product innovation into the firm’s broking, research, and advisory operations. This pivotal role combines leadership across Digital Strategy, Data Intelligence, and AI Innovation, while constructing a modern data ecosystem that enhances decision-making, market insights, and client engagement. By working at the nexus of technology, analytics, and maritime markets, you will deliver scalable digital platforms and AI-enabled tools that bolster broker productivity, enrich research capabilities, and create differentiated value for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Group’s digital and AI strategy aligned with business priorities.
- Build and lead a scalable data and analytics capability to support commercial decision-making.
- Develop and deploy digital tools that enhance broker productivity and market insight.
- Identify and implement high-impact AI use cases across analytics, research, and workflows.
- Drive the modernization of data platforms and digital infrastructure.
- Translate data into actionable insights and client-facing solutions.
- Embed digital capabilities across the organization and propel adoption.
- Act as a bridge between business, data, and technology teams to deliver measurable impact.
- Promote a culture of innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Profile Requirements
- 8-10+ years in digital, data, and product development roles.
- 5+ years in management or leadership positions.
- Proven track record of leading successful digital transformation programs.
- Strong technical foundation, capable of guiding and challenging development teams effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing teams across multiple locations.
- Proven capability to lead within an international and distributed organizational setup.
- Comfortable interacting with and reporting to senior leadership and top management.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with impact to executive stakeholders.
- International background with robust cross-cultural awareness.
- Culturally open-minded, adaptable, and effective in diverse working environments.
- Pragmatic, results-oriented mindset with strong execution capabilities.
- Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
- Fluency in English, with a good command of French and Chinese; additional languages are considered an asset.
