The Cyber Security Business Line is currently undergoing a strategic realignment and is seeking a leader with strategic clarity, technical depth, and entrepreneurial thinking to sustainably strengthen the business case and expand its market position as a premier security partner.

My Challenges

• Responsible for the Cyber Security roadmap of the corporate group: setting goals, deriving measures, and ensuring operational implementation in the short, medium, and long term.
• Expand and maintain strategic technology partnerships, particularly the Microsoft alliance, with your own negotiation mandate at the partner level.
• Lead a multidisciplinary specialist team of SOC analysts, security engineers, and security consultants across multiple locations, managing both personnel and expertise.
• Ensure service quality throughout the entire lifecycle: from conception and solution design to ongoing operations.
• Be technically hands-on where it counts: accompany complex customer projects and personally intervene in critical security incidents.
• Provide technical expertise during presales discussions and solution design phases.
• Take full accountability for the business line, including revenue, EBITDA, budget planning, and margin optimization.

My Competencies

• Several years of proven experience in building and operating Managed Security Services, particularly in SOC operations.
• Entrepreneurial thinking with a P&L focus; existing P&L experience is a plus, but ambitious leaders new to this responsibility are equally encouraged to apply.
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Security Stack, including MS Sentinel, MS Defender Suite (Endpoint, Office 365, Identity, Cloud), and MS Purview.
• Solid understanding of security architectures for hybrid and cloud environments (Azure, M365).
• Hands-on experience in demanding projects and critical escalation situations.
• Strong leadership skills for teams comprising both senior and junior professionals, along with change management experience in establishing new business units.
• Excellent networking skills both internally and externally; a team player who seeks synergies rather than operating as a lone wolf.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities at the C-level with partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Proficient in German, both written and spoken, with good English skills.
• Knowledge of other security platforms (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with incident response, penetration testing, or compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks) is an asset.
