Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary leader to lead our Corporate Life & Pensions business on a global scale. Reporting directly to the CEO of Life Protection, you will take on full accountability for end-to-end P&L and balance sheet performance across key business areas. Additionally, you will drive growth through our domestic businesses worldwide, concentrating on delivering profitable, sustainable growth through innovative customer propositions and excellence in distribution management.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Full end-to-end P&L and balance sheet accountability for key businesses in Zurich’s global portfolio.
  • Driving profitable, sustainable growth through leading customer propositions and excellence in distribution management.
  • Oversight of ZGEBS, ranking as one of the top 3 global Employee Benefits businesses.
  • Management of the International Markets business, operating from the Isle of Man with leading market positions.
  • Leading Zurich Eurolife (Luxembourg), a premier provider of Employee Benefits solutions into Germany.
  • Collaborating with local business units to develop and deploy global propositions, solutions, and tools into local markets.
  • Nurturing global relationships with strategic partner Employee Benefits Consultants and Brokers to foster positive customer outcomes and growth.
  • Overseeing relationships with global strategic clients, partnering closely with Zurich’s Commercial Insurance team.
  • Driving thought leadership in Employee Benefits to reinforce Zurich’s position as a global leader in this sector.
  • Enhancing skills and capabilities in Employee Benefits across Zurich globally.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in the Life Insurance sector, particularly focusing on Employee Benefits.
  • Demonstrated success in driving profitable business growth and managing significant P&L responsibilities.
  • A strong ability to collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders across a global organization.
  • Experience in setting long-term plans, strategy, and policies to achieve sustainable profitability and growth at both country and segment levels.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with the aptitude to build and lead high-performing teams.
