Main Tasks

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the daily implementation of Concierge service standards and protocols.
  • Overseeing guest reception from arrival to departure and managing complex Concierge requests.
  • Supervising Concierge operations, including reservations, billing, and cash handling.
  • Managing all types of guest reservations and services, such as dining, transportation, activities, and medical appointments.
  • Building strong guest relationships, professionally handling complaints, and ensuring high guest satisfaction.
  • Leading and coordinating the Concierge and Bell Staff teams in collaboration with the Assistant Head Concierge.
  • Organizing daily operations, allocating tasks, and optimizing staffing levels.
  • Monitoring departmental performance indicators and contributing to service quality improvements.
  • Promoting hotel services, developing guest loyalty, and driving revenue through cross-selling.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a Luxury Concierge department within a 5-star or Palace hotel, ideally in a premium mountain resort.
  • Proven experience in a seasonal environment during high activity levels and operational peak periods.
  • Strong experience in team leadership, operational planning, and guest relations excellence.
  • A demonstrated ability to handle VIP and high-profile guests with absolute discretion and attention to detail.
  • A BA in Hospitality or equivalent apprenticeship; further education or certifications in Guest Service is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written); proficiency in German is preferred, with other European languages being a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
  • Absolute discretion and strict adherence to guest confidentiality.
  • A well-groomed appearance and strong organizational skills.
  • Extensive local knowledge.
  • Membership in Les Clefs d’Or is an advantage.
  • Solid IT/computer skills.
  • A valid driving license.
