Are you skilled in creating authentic Chettinad dishes? Can you prepare the best Butter Chicken? We are seeking a talented Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen and develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and plan new menu options in line with seasonal trends and customer preferences.
  • Assist with meal preparation and kitchen design planning.
  • Ensure timely operations of all kitchen activities.
  • Support junior kitchen staff with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor new kitchen employees to meet our restaurant standards.
  • Create work schedules for kitchen employees and evaluate their performance.
  • Adhere to sanitation and safety regulations consistently.
  • Manage the kitchen team during the Head Chef's absence.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of ten years experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
  • Qualified with a diploma or degree in Hospitality is preferred.
  • A commitment to work for a minimum of two years in our restaurants in Switzerland is expected.
  • Sound knowledge of South Indian specialty cuisine, particularly Chettinad cuisine, and Indian cooking techniques.
  • Additional proficiency in German would be a plus.
