Are you skilled in crafting authentic Chettinad cuisine? Can you create the best Butter Chicken? We are looking for a passionate Chef de Cuisine to join our team and elevate our Indian dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
- Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner.
- Provide support to junior kitchen employees with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
- Recruit and train new kitchen employees to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.
- Create schedules for kitchen employees and evaluate their performance.
- Adhere to and implement sanitation and safety regulations.
- Manage the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of ten years of experience in a well-reputed restaurant or hotel.
- Qualified candidates should preferably hold a diploma or degree in Hospitality.
- A commitment to work for a minimum of two years at our restaurants in Switzerland is expected.
- Sound knowledge of South Indian specialty cuisine, particularly Chettinad cuisine, and Indian cooking techniques is essential.
- Proficiency in the German language is preferred.
