Job Description
Are you passionate about creating authentic vegetarian cuisines? Do you have what it takes to whip up the best Butter Paneer? If so, we are looking for you!
As a vital member of our culinary team, you will:
- Develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
- Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner.
- Provide support to junior kitchen employees with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
- Recruit and train new kitchen employees to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.
- Create schedules for kitchen employees and evaluate their performance.
- Adhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Manage the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of ten years of experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Qualified candidate with a diploma or degree in Hospitality (preferred).
- A commitment to work for a minimum of two years at our restaurants here in Switzerland is expected.
- Sound knowledge of South Indian specialty cuisine, particularly vegetarian dishes.
