Job Description

Are you passionate about creating authentic vegetarian cuisines? Do you excel at crafting the perfect Butter Paneer? If so, we want you to join our culinary team!

In this role, you will:

  • Develop innovative menu options based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Assist with meal design preparation and planning.
  • Ensure that kitchen operations run efficiently and on schedule.
  • Support junior kitchen staff with various tasks, including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
  • Recruit and train new kitchen employees to uphold restaurant standards.
  • Create work schedules for kitchen staff and assess their performance.
  • Adhere to sanitation and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Manage the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
  • Qualified with a diploma or degree in Hospitality (preferred).
  • A commitment to working for a minimum of two years at our restaurants in Switzerland is expected.
  • Strong knowledge of South Indian specialty cuisine, particularly vegetarian dishes.
