As a Chef de Cuisine, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen operations, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with meal planning and design.
- Oversee kitchen activities to maintain a timely workflow.
- Support junior kitchen staff with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
- Recruit and train new kitchen employees to meet our standards.
- Create and manage employee schedules while evaluating their performance.
- Implement and adhere to sanitation and safety regulations.
- Manage the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Qualified candidates should hold a diploma or degree in Hospitality.
- A commitment to work for a minimum of two years in our restaurants in Switzerland is expected.
- Extensive knowledge of South Indian specialty cuisine (preferably Chettinad) and Indian cooking techniques.
- Proficiency in German is an advantage.
