We are thrilled to announce an opening for an experienced Head of Business Studies to join our fantastic team.

About the Role

As Head of Business Studies, you will lead a dynamic and forward-thinking department, shaping the strategic direction of Business Education across the British Curriculum, IGCSE, and A-Level. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing British Curriculum design to ensure it is rigorous, engaging, and aligned with UK examination standards.
• Maintaining consistently high-quality teaching and learning across the subject.
• Guiding, mentoring, and supporting teachers through effective line management and professional development.
• Fostering a collaborative and high-performing departmental culture.
• Using assessment data to monitor progress, drive improvement, and implement targeted interventions.
• Contributing to whole-school initiatives, long-term academic planning, and supporting enrichment activities such as enterprise projects and educational visits.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a proposed start date in August 2026.

Who We Are Looking For

We seek an inspiring and strategic leader with a strong passion for Business Education. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Robust subject expertise and proven success teaching British IGCSE and/or A-Level Business Studies (or equivalent).
• A track record of improving student attainment.
• Excellent communication skills for building positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
• The ability to motivate and develop others, alongside a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
• A drive for achieving high academic standards.
