Job Opportunity: Head of Brand & Marketing
The mandate of the Brand & Marketing unit is to lead, promote, and shape the Julius Baer brand, continuously strengthening its brand equity within the Group’s High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI) and Ultra High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWI) target segment in its selected strategic markets.
The Head of Brand & Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive brand and marketing strategy that enhances Julius Baer's position as a leading wealth management firm. This senior leadership role will oversee multiple cross-functional brand and marketing teams, collaborating closely with various departments to effectively promote the bank's brand, products, and services to clients, prospects, and other stakeholders.
Job Description:
- Develop and execute a global brand strategy that aligns with Julius Baer’s purpose of ‘Creating value beyond wealth’ while supporting the firm’s growth strategy and financial targets.
- Manage Julius Baer’s brand identity, encompassing visual identity, tone of voice, and overall brand expression. Ensure a consistent application of the Julius Baer brand across all touchpoints, including advertising, sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Establish and manage an ecosystem of brand partnerships designed to promote the brand and engage clients and prospects in strategic markets.
- Deliver high-quality events, conferences, and seminars that showcase Julius Baer's expertise and foster relationships with clients, prospects, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and implementation of targeted cross-channel advertising and content campaigns.
- Leverage data-driven insights to effectively engage with clients and prospects.
- Define Group-wide marketing initiatives and drive them in close collaboration with Regional Marketing.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to support marketing initiatives.
- Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals in areas such as branding, advertising, content marketing, digital channels (website and social media), and events.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including communications, sales, and product teams, to ensure brand consistency.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in comparable roles, preferably within the financial services industry.
- In-depth understanding of brand management, marketing strategy, digital marketing channels, and campaign execution.
- Ability to integrate and work across disciplines effectively.
- Demonstrated track record of data-driven decision-making.
