Position Overview: GTF Quality Inspector
As a GTF Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in the inspection processes of engine components. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to our operational success.
Your Tasks
- Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and individual parts on schedule (PW1100G-JM).
- Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
- Request and execute engine modifications.
- Control the execution of modifications and configurations on single parts and assemblies.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis).
- Continuously improve processes aimed at enhancing quality and safety.
- Handle operating equipment with an environmentally conscious approach.
- Measure control of assemblies in a mounted condition.
- Execute and self-control performed orders in a timely manner.
- Document activities as assigned in accordance with regulations.
- Conduct internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and implement defined actions in a timely manner.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry.
- Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA Part 145/ Part 66.
- Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends.
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely, and responsibly.
- An open-minded and dedicated team player with excellent communication skills.
- High awareness of safety, quality, and cost management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP.
- Knowledge of English language (level B1); knowledge of German is a plus.
