Your Responsibilities
- Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and piece parts on schedule (PW1100G-JM).
- Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
- Request and execute engine modifications.
- Control of executed modifications and configuration on single parts and assemblies.
- Complete assigned work on time and ensure quality of work.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies including Lean Events, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Continuously improve processes with a focus on quality and safety enhancement.
- Handle operating equipment in an environmentally conscious manner.
- Measure control of the assemblies in mounted condition.
- Execute tasks timely with independent self-control of performed orders.
- Document activities in accordance with regulations.
- Conduct internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and implement defined actions promptly.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably specializing in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry.
- Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA Part 145/Part 66.
- Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends.
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely, and responsibly.
- Open-minded and dedicated team player with strong communication skills.
- High awareness of safety, quality, and cost controls.
- Proficient in MS Office and experienced with SAP.
- Knowledge of English language (level B1); knowledge of German is a plus.
