Your Role and Responsibilities
As a GTF Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for:
- Performing technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and individual parts on schedule (PW1100G-JM).
- Creating repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
- Requesting and executing engine modifications.
- Controlling executed modifications and configurations on individual parts and assemblies.
- Completing assigned work on time while ensuring the quality of your output.
- Applying Lean Six Sigma principles (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis).
- Continuously improving processes with an aim to enhance quality and safety.
- Handling operating equipment in an environmentally conscious manner.
- Measuring control of assemblies in mounted condition.
- Taking initiative for timely execution and independent self-monitoring of assigned tasks.
- Documenting activities in accordance with regulations.
- Conducting internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and ensuring timely implementation of defined actions.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- Completed vocational training, preferably in a metal specialization (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the Aviation MRO industry.
- A favorable certification to certify engines under EASA Part 145/Part 66.
- The willingness to work in two shifts, with flexibility to work on weekends.
- The ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely, and responsibly.
- An open-minded attitude and dedication as a team player with good communication skills.
- High awareness of safety, quality, and costs.
- Proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of the English language (level B1); German language skills are an advantage.
