Responsibilities
- Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and piece parts on schedule (PW1100G-JM).
- Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
- Request and execute engine modifications.
- Control executed modifications and configurations on single parts and assemblies.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work while maintaining quality standards.
- Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including Lean Events, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Continuously improve processes focused on enhancing quality and safety.
- Handle operating equipment in an environmentally conscious manner.
- Measure control of assemblies in mounted condition.
- Execute orders independently with self-control of performed tasks.
- Document activities in accordance with regulations.
- Conduct internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and ensure the timely implementation of defined actions.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably in a metal-related field (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry.
- Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145/part 66.
- Willingness to work in two shifts, with flexibility for weekends.
- Able to carry out assigned tasks independently and responsibly.
- Open-minded, dedicated team player with strong communication skills.
- High awareness of safety, quality, and cost.
- Proficient in MS Office and experienced with SAP.
- Knowledge of English (level B1); German proficiency is a plus.
