Responsibilities

  • Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and piece parts on schedule (PW1100G-JM).
  • Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
  • Request and execute engine modifications.
  • Control executed modifications and configurations on single parts and assemblies.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned work while maintaining quality standards.
  • Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including Lean Events, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Continuously improve processes focused on enhancing quality and safety.
  • Handle operating equipment in an environmentally conscious manner.
  • Measure control of assemblies in mounted condition.
  • Execute orders independently with self-control of performed tasks.
  • Document activities in accordance with regulations.
  • Conduct internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and ensure the timely implementation of defined actions.

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training, preferably in a metal-related field (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry.
  • Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145/part 66.
  • Willingness to work in two shifts, with flexibility for weekends.
  • Able to carry out assigned tasks independently and responsibly.
  • Open-minded, dedicated team player with strong communication skills.
  • High awareness of safety, quality, and cost.
  • Proficient in MS Office and experienced with SAP.
  • Knowledge of English (level B1); German proficiency is a plus.
