Position Overview: Supervisor GTF Module Line

As a Supervisor on the GTF Module Line, you will lead day-to-day operations focusing on fan, LPC/HPC, combustor, LPT/HPT, and gearbox components. Your role will involve organizing personnel, parts, and methods to ensure safe, compliant, and timely module builds and teardowns, consistently meeting OEM and authority standards.

Your Tasks

  • Plan, brief, and steer the Module Line to meet daily SQDCP targets: safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people. Act as the main point of contact for authorities and customers as required.
  • Ensure method compliance.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Material teams to protect the schedule and resolve any blockers.
  • Develop team capabilities through on-the-job training, ownership of the skills matrix, performance feedback, and corrective coaching.
  • Drive 5S and Lean initiatives concerning station balance, takt adherence, WIP limits, and first-time yield.
  • Report module status with clear KPIs; escalate risks promptly and propose recovery plans.

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft/turbine engine maintenance within a shop, hangar, or MRO environment.
  • 5+ years in a supervisory or lead technician role.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance procedures, documentation (AMM/CMM/IPC), safety standards, and quality expectations.
  • Proven ability to manage workflow, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with maintenance documentation systems.
  • English proficiency at level B2+ (German is a plus).
  • Microsoft Office skills required; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
