Your Opportunity
To strengthen our New Engines organization, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of GTF Operations to lead all operational activities related to the PW1100G-JM (GTF) engine. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day disassembly and assembly operations for the PW1100G-JM engine, from induction to release, while ensuring exceptional performance in turnaround time (TAT), on-time delivery (OTD), and operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee all PW1100G-JM disassembly and assembly operations, ensuring excellence in output.
- Manage Centres of Excellence (COEs) for backshop repairs.
- Consistently achieve Turnaround Time (TAT) and On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets.
- Implement best practices to maximize efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce operational costs.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of Trust, Accountability, and Teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with SR Technics, OEM, and airworthiness authority standards and regulations.
- Promote a strong Safety and Quality Culture, continuously improving all safety management elements.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the OEM network to align processes and ensure smooth operations.
- Support the expansion and industrialization of New Engine capabilities within SR Technics.
Your Profile
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 10+ years in MRO or production environments, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Background: Strong operational knowledge of engine or aircraft maintenance (EASA Part-145).
- Lean Mindset: Proven experience in implementing Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership, decision-making abilities, and strong communication skills across all levels.
- Languages: Fluent in English (C1–C2); German is a strong advantage.
- Systems: Proficient in ERP/SAP and MS Office tools.
