Job Description

The Kids Residence Early Academy is a developmental preschool that offers comprehensive early education to the international community on the left shore of Lake Zurich. We provide fully immersive instruction in both German and English, catering to children from infancy through primary school age. The school comprises five preschool classes and two kindergarten classes, in addition to various childcare services. Spanning over 1200 square meters, our facility boasts bright, spacious classrooms that create a welcoming and comfortable environment.

We seek an empathetic and motivated individual to join our Kids Residence Early Academy as a Group Leader for the Baby Group (80-100%).

Your Main Responsibilities

• Lead the Early Kindergarten class (children aged 3 months)
• Provide individualized support and encouragement to children in their learning processes with dedication and empathy
• Plan and execute educational activities according to our early education curriculum, "EarlySteps"
• Observe and document the developmental stages of children, creating their developmental portfolios
• Collaborate closely with other teachers on cross-class activities
• Organize and conduct parent-teacher meetings and parent evenings

What You Bring

• A recognized diploma as an early childhood educator HF, BA in Education, or childcare specialist
• At least five years of professional experience working with young children
• Further education in the field of infant care or a willingness to complete such a course
• Familiarity with working in a high-quality educational daycare
• Native-level proficiency in either German or English, with an excellent command of the other language
• A great passion for working with children, focusing on their needs and interests
• A desire to effectively contribute your expertise and deepen your experience within an exciting and motivating team
• Initiative, a sense of responsibility, and an independent working style
• Open and respectful communication skills, as well as a strong team spirit
