Enterprise Architecture & Technology Leadership
Guide the structural framework of architecture to ensure alignment with business goals.
Operational Resilience & Cybersecurity
- Ensure global service reliability, performance, and lifecycle governance.
- Own ABB’s cybersecurity posture, risk governance, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy.
- Lead infrastructure, cloud, integration, disaster recovery, and vendor/SLA governance.
Institutional Capability Building
Enhance internal capabilities across Customer Experience (CX), platforms, SAP, architecture, data, and cybersecurity. Aim to reduce reliance on external integrators and foster strong service ownership along with a deep internal knowledge base.
Financial Governance
- Provide comprehensive transparency of IT costs and ensure disciplined investment decision-making.
- Support program benefit realization while managing sustainable post-transformation operational costs.
- Position IT investment as a strategic capability rather than a discretionary expense.
Strategic Business Partnership
Drive IT enablement for M&A integrations and carveouts while balancing innovation speed with architectural discipline. Elevate IT’s role as a strategic partner across the enterprise.
Experience & Background
- Prior CIO experience in a multinational industrial environment with demonstrated international leadership capabilities.
- Proven success in leading decentralized business models across various regions and countries.
- Strong business acumen combined with relevant experience.
- Expertise in cybersecurity governance and operational resilience leadership.
- Experience in integrating large transformation programs into regular operations.
