The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grade 6 teacher who can engage and inspire learners through passion and professional expertise. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in Upper Primary/Lower Secondary education, particularly with a focus on English and Humanities/Social Studies. Candidates should be flexible and enthusiastic about collaborating with a dynamic team of professional educators to plan, deliver, and assess a student-centered curriculum within a diverse international school setting. A teacher at ZIS will maintain high expectations for students, adopt a mentoring mindset, and be adept at differentiating content and instruction across all courses.

Requirements

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in this age group, preferably in an international school setting. For non-Swiss/EU applicants, extensive international experience is essential.
