About the Role
The Director, GPD Strategy and Marketing Lead for Dermatology presents a unique opportunity to shape Takeda's inaugural commercial footprint in this therapeutic area. You will play a pivotal role in building strategic knowledge exchange and internal communication, fostering an inclusive collaboration that supports seamless knowledge transfer across global, regional, and local cross-functional teams.
This position is particularly crucial as Takeda ventures into the Psoriasis therapeutic area, contributing to a culture of trust and excellence across internal teams and with external partners in a rapidly evolving market. You will report directly to the Head of GPD Strategy & Marketing Dermatology, part of the Marketing & Commercial Excellence (MCE) team.
Key Responsibilities
The GPD Strategy and Marketing Lead for Dermatology will support the GPD MCE Head of Dermatology Strategy & Marketing and collaborate with the Dermatology franchise community to further develop and refine the brand strategy, enabling local franchise success through:
- Leading the strategic vision and ongoing enhancement of a best-in-class knowledge and communication system, supporting the Launch Pad and Knowledge Hub as central resources for accessible information across MCE and LOCs.
- Developing effective communication channels and tools to ensure the right information reaches the appropriate audiences, tailored to various stakeholders' operational needs.
How You Will Contribute
Stakeholder Communication
- Establishing efficient pathways for insights transfer among LOCs, regional offices, and global teams.
- Creating impactful presentations, supported by digital tools, for senior leadership.
- Facilitating collaboration meetings and councils to enhance teamwork and brainstorming.
- Building effective channels of communication to ensure that relevant information reaches the right audience, including core commercial teams and LOCs.
- Translating key knowledge and insights into meeting materials, newsletters, and other communication tools to support sound decision-making.
- Serving as the primary liaison for communication between LOCs, corporate functions, MCE, and global commercial teams.
- Ensuring effective meeting coordination and alignment among stakeholders through tailored communications.
Launch Dashboard Workstream
- Leading the Launch Dashboard workstream to capture and inform key launch metrics, aligning with business priorities.
- Overseeing the continuous development of the Launch Dashboard and communicating critical launch metrics among stakeholders.
- Tracking and interpreting launch effectiveness to ensure alignment with essential business goals.
Knowledge System Curation
- Managing the Launch Pad and Knowledge Hub, ensuring accessibility and usability of best practices and resources for all LOCs.
- Coordinating with GPD, MCE, and LOC stakeholders to maintain accurate, relevant, and impactful content.
- Overseeing knowledge systems to guarantee access to relevant and actionable information.
- Maintaining a comprehensive library of global resources to support commercial and marketing decisions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to acquire quality resources that enhance the value of the knowledge system.
- Reviewing and approving submissions from LOCs and driving engagement across the network.
- Ensuring effective governance through operational working groups and regular calls.

- Embedding data and insights into planning and execution, translating analytics into actionable strategies for customer engagement.
