About the Role

The Senior Director, GPD Strategy and Marketing Lead, Dermatology presents a unique opportunity to shape Takeda's inaugural commercial footprint in Dermatology. In this strategic role, you will tailor the global brand strategy across the GPD region and collaborate closely with local team members to lead pre-launch non-promotional and post-launch promotional initiatives.

This role is pivotal as Takeda ventures into the Psoriasis therapeutic area, fostering a culture of trust and excellence. You will report to the Head of GPD Strategy & Marketing Dermatology, who is part of the MCE team (Marketing & Commercial Excellence).

Key Responsibilities

The GPD Strategy and Marketing Lead, Dermatology, will support the GPD MCE Head of Dermatology Strategy & Marketing and the Dermatology franchise community across GPD to develop and refine brand strategies through:

  • Leading the execution of the MCE tactical plan, customizing global strategies and resources tailored to the EUCAN & GEM realities.
  • Providing strategic guidance for local brand planning processes, ensuring alignment with global strategies and effective execution at the local level.
  • Offering expert consultation during local launch activation workshops, sharing insights, best practices, and actionable recommendations.
  • Establishing a strategic insights roadmap to gather, share, and translate insights into actionable strategies for continuous improvement.

How You Will Contribute

  • Strategic Brand & Tactical MCE Plan: Lead the development and implementation of the MCE tactical plan, leveraging global strategies tailored to regional specifics.
  • Local Brand Plan Guidance: Guide local brand planning processes, ensuring alignment with global strategies and efficacy in execution.
  • Launch Support: Provide expert strategic consultation and support during local launch activation workshops.
  • Insights Sharing: Maintain a strategic insights roadmap to ensure actionable strategies are derived from gathered insights.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously develop an understanding of market trends and dynamics to inform strategic planning.

Patient Engagement & Community Insights

Drive initiatives focused on patient profiling to enhance understanding of target populations and inform engagement strategies. Consolidate insights from local teams and stakeholders to shape tactical plans and ignite the psoriasis community through effective communication.

Agency Collaboration & Process Optimization

Streamline collaboration with agencies of record to boost efficiency, innovation, and scalability across deliverables. Coordinate communication and approval processes across cross-functional teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging are maintained.

Change Management & Collaboration

Lead the co-creation of commercial strategies and content with local teams through an agile and integrated operating model. Activate the “GPD Way” of working to foster collaboration and strategic alignment.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Therapeutic & Market Expertise: Proven experience in dermatology, particularly in psoriasis, with deep knowledge of market dynamics.
  • Launch & Commercial Excellence: Demonstrated success in launching products at local, regional, and global levels.
