Job Opening: GMP Calibration Engineer/Technician (M/W/D)

We are excited to welcome our next GMP Calibration Engineer/Technician to our dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-level, technically complex calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance (PMs), ensuring accurate and timely GxP documentation in accordance with client-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and effective solutions to clients and technical resources.
  • Take proactive steps to ensure proper handling and maintenance of client-owned equipment, while also training associates on appropriate use and management.
  • Identify and initiate scope changes, effectively communicating with clients and processing change requests.
  • Assess project safety concerns proactively, ensuring compliance with all client and site safety policies.
  • Strategically evaluate client environments, needs, and requirements to develop effective solutions, delivering successful execution through robust client relationships.
  • Understand and execute GMP and compliance practices relevant to clients and their instrumentation needs.
  • Develop functional instrument requirements and procure instruments for clients.
  • Perform and oversee equipment services and instrument procurement, collaborating with third-party technical services.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences Management, or a related technical field (or equivalent military training) with five or more years of intensive instrumentation experience in the Pharmaceutical/Quality industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong preference for experience in project management, consulting, supervision, and client relations.
  • Ability to independently initiate instrument specifications, installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in calibration and instrumentation within process and/or analytical service fields, with technical advisory capabilities across various life science industries.
  • Good knowledge and skills with incubators, centrifuges, balances, refrigerators and freezers, stability chambers, chromatography (HPLC or GC), spectrophotometers, and other general laboratory equipment.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; German proficiency is a plus.
