Join Our Team as a GMP Calibration Engineer/Technician (M/W/D)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-level and technically complex calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance (PM) with accurate and timely GxP documentation, while adhering to client-specific policies and procedures, and ensuring safety at all times.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and effective solutions to clients and technical resources.
  • Proactively ensure that client-owned equipment is handled and maintained properly, and train other associates on its proper use and handling.
  • Identify and initiate scope changes, communicate with clients, and process scope change requests.
  • Proactively assess project safety concerns and ensure that TECH'FIRM team members comply with all client and site safety requirements.
  • Strategically evaluate client environments, needs, and requirements to develop and initiate effective solutions, delivering successful execution through established solid relationships with clients.
  • Understand and execute GMP and compliance practices in relation to clients and their instrumentation needs.
  • Develop functional instrument requirements and procure instruments for clients.
  • Perform and oversee equipment services and instrument procurement; partner with and assist third-party technical services.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Engineering, Management Life Sciences, or a related technical field (or equivalent military training) with five or more years of intensive instrumentation experience in the Pharmaceutical/Quality industry, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Project management, consulting, supervision, and client relations experience are strongly preferred.
  • Ability to independently initiate instrument specifications, installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in calibration and instrumentation within the process and/or analytical service fields, serving as a technical advisor in various life science industries.
  • Proficient knowledge and capability with incubators, centrifuges, balances, refrigerators and freezers, stability chambers, chromatography (HPLC or GC), spectrophotometers, and general laboratory equipment.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus.
