Now Hiring: GMP Calibration Engineer/Technician (M/W/D)
We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a GMP Calibration Engineer/Technician. If you are passionate about engineering and compliance within the pharmaceutical industry, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-level and technically complex calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance with precise and timely GxP documentation, following client-specific policies and procedures, while ensuring safety.
- Provide guidance, direction, and effective solutions to clients and technical resources.
- Proactively ensure proper handling and maintenance of client-owned equipment, while training associates on correct use and handling.
- Identify, initiate, and communicate scope changes to clients, processing the appropriate scope change requests.
- Assess project safety concerns proactively, ensuring that all team members comply with client and site safety requirements.
- Evaluate client environments and needs strategically to develop effective solutions, delivering successful execution through established relationships.
- Understand and apply GMP and compliance practices related to client instrumentation needs.
- Develop functional instrument requirements and manage instrument procurement for clients.
- Oversee equipment services and instrument procurement, partnering with third-party technical services as needed.
Requirements:
- A degree in Engineering, Management Life Sciences, or a related technical field (or equivalent military training) along with five or more years of intense instrumentation experience in the Pharmaceutical/Quality industry, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Strongly preferred experience in project management, consulting, supervision, and client relations.
- Ability to independently initiate instrument specifications, installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in calibration and instrumentation within process and/or analytical service fields, acting as a technical advisor across various life science industries.
- Good knowledge and skill with incubators, centrifuges, balances, refrigerators and freezers, stability chambers, chromatography (HPLC or GC), spectrophotometers, and general laboratory equipment.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German is a plus.
