Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level and technically complex calibrations, qualifications, and preventative maintenance (PM), ensuring accurate and timely GxP documentation while adhering to client-specific policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance, direction, and effective solutions to clients and technical resources.
- Proactively ensure that client-owned equipment is handled and maintained properly, training associates on proper usage and handling.
- Identify and initiate scope changes, communicating effectively with clients and processing scope change requests.
- Assess project safety concerns and ensure compliance with client and site safety requirements for all Tech'firm team members.
- Strategically evaluate client environments, needs, and requirements to develop innovative solutions, delivering successful execution through established solid client relationships.
- Understand and execute GMP and compliance practices related to client instrumentation requirements.
- Develop functional instrument requirements and procure instruments for clients.
- Oversee equipment services and instrument procurement while partnering with third-party technical services.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering, Management, Life Sciences, or a related technical field (or equivalent military training) with at least five years of intensive instrumentation experience in the Pharmaceutical/Quality industry, or a satisfactory combination of education and experience.
- Strong preference for experience in project management, consulting, supervision, and client relations.
- Ability to independently initiate instrument specifications, installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in calibration and instrumentation within process and analytical service fields, serving as a technical advisor across various life science industries.
- Proficiency with incubators, centrifuges, balances, refrigerators and freezers, stability chambers, chromatography (HPLC or GC), spectrophotometers, and other general laboratory equipment.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus.
