Position Available: GMP Calibration Engineer/Technician (M/W/D)
We are looking for our next GMP Calibration Engineer/Technician to join our dynamic team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-level, technically complex calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance (PM) with precise GxP documentation, adhering to client-specific policies and procedures, all performed safely.
- Provide guidance, direction, and effective solutions to clients and technical resources.
- Proactively ensure that client-owned equipment is properly handled and maintained, while training associates on correct usage and handling.
- Identify and initiate scope changes, communicating these to clients and processing change requests as needed.
- Assess project safety concerns proactively, ensuring Tech'firm team members comply with all client and site safety requirements.
- Evaluate client environments, needs, and requirements to develop and implement effective solutions, fostering solid relationships for successful execution.
- Understand and execute GMP and compliance practices concerning client instrumentation needs.
- Develop functional requirements for instruments and procure equipment for clients.
- Perform and oversee equipment services and instrument procurement, partnering with and assisting third-party technical services.
Requirements:
- A degree in Engineering, Management, Life Sciences, or a related technical field (or equivalent military training) with five or more years of extensive instrumentation experience in the Pharmaceutical/Quality industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in project management, consulting, supervision, and client relations.
- Capable of independently initiating instrument specifications, installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in calibration and instrumentation within the process and/or analytical service fields, serving as a technical advisor in various life science industries.
- Solid knowledge of incubators, centrifuges, balances, refrigerators and freezers, stability chambers, chromatography (HPLC or GC), spectrophotometers, and other general laboratory equipment.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in German is a plus.
