Job Title: Traffic Manager - Refined Metals

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Manager to oversee all traffic activities across multiple locations within the Refined Metals sector. This role involves customer interaction, process improvement, compliance, strategy development, shipment execution, performance management, people management, and budget management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the ambitious growth strategy and business evolution of various product lines.
  • Contribute to improved margins by continually reviewing logistical chains for value and reliability.
  • Provide expert guidance and advice to the company leadership team on all aspects of the supply chain function.
  • Ensure adherence to core controls and exposures, taking necessary action as required.
  • Act as a liaison and escalation point between departments, regions, and products.
  • Support trading teams with the operational aspects of trades.
  • Plan, implement, and control supply chain operations as per contractual terms.
  • Ensure the correct rollout of new products or business flows.
  • Participate in headcount and budget processes while operating within approved budgets.
  • Drive performance management and objective-setting processes within the department.
  • Understand IXM systems and facilitate the successful rollout of the new CTRM platform.

Education, Skills and Experience

  • 12+ years of related experience in the commodities trading industry, with a focus on the Refined Metals sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with CTRMs and data analysis tools (Excel, Business Objects).
  • Demonstrable experience in process design and improvement.
  • Good understanding of hedging and P&L management in a trading environment.
  • Ability to manage complexity effectively.
  • Capable of handling confidential and sensitive issues with discretion.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders from team members to Global Heads.
  • Skilled at diplomatically resolving disputes with external counterparties.
  • Conceptual skills: ability to adopt a broad view, analyze and diagnose problems, and find creative solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a large, diverse, and global team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally to manage, support, and develop teams based abroad.
  • Bachelor's degree.
