Purpose of Role

The Global Product Manager - Aftermarket drives Weir’s growth strategy by leading the aftermarket strategy for stirred mills within the Minerals Division. This role focuses on delivering world-class aftermarket solutions, including spare parts, upgrades, and technical support, to enhance customer satisfaction and equipment longevity. Collaborating with global teams and OEM partners, you will ensure sustainable, energy-efficient grinding solutions for mining clients, shaping the future of Weir’s aftermarket services.

Travel

This exciting position includes up to 30% travel globally for supplier visits, client meetings, and aftermarket project support.

Education and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, automation, or chemical engineering preferred
• Experience: 5-10 years in relevant mining equipment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role focused on aftermarket services or product management. Experience with stirred mills or grinding technologies is highly desirable.
• Proven success in aftermarket product launches or service delivery, ideally with global exposure in the mining industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of stirred mills, including maintenance, spare parts, and upgrades. Familiarity with Weir’s minerals processing technologies (e.g., Enduron® HPGRs, Warman® pumps) and their integration with aftermarket solutions.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills to collaborate globally and solve complex challenges.
• Field or site-based experience in mining is advantageous.
