Position Overview

As the Global Process Owner for Procure to Pay and Inventory (m/f/d), you will play a crucial role in defining, governing, and continuously improving the Procure-to-Pay and Inventory Management processes within the global Accelleron service network utilizing the SAP S/4HANA system. Your expertise will enable users to execute compliant and consistent processes through global standards, templates, and system capabilities. You will focus on driving process discipline, user adherence, and change management, ensuring reliable procurement and inventory-related transactions, financial integrity, and scalable service operations. Reporting to the Team Leader & Service Business Process Manager (S/4HANA), Global Service Operations, you will be an integral part of the S/4HANA Flash Team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the Global Process Owner and Subject Matter Expert for Procure-to-Pay and Inventory Management, overseeing end-to-end process design, governance, and integration within the SAP S/4HANA service landscape.
  • Define, govern, and maintain global P2P and Inventory process standards, ensuring consistent execution across the service network while meeting local legal and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Group P2P, Service Inventory, Global Process Owner Order-to-Cash, Finance and Controlling, and other processes to ensure end-to-end integration, data consistency, and financial integrity.
  • Build and maintain a strong P2P & Inventory Power User community to enable distributed ownership of process execution, knowledge sharing, and support.
  • Monitor process adherence through KPIs, identify root causes and system issues, and drive corrective actions in collaboration with Power Users.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from users and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and lead the execution of initiatives in partnership with the S/4HANA Flash Team.
  • Represent P2P and Inventory processes in cross-functional initiatives and regulatory projects, ensuring aligned implementation within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Work with IS and application owners to define business requirements and user stories to ensure effective support for P2P and Inventory processes.
  • Act as authorization owner for Requests for Change (RfCs), ensuring compliance and alignment with global standards.
  • Oversee business testing, user acceptance, and final sign-off for process changes and SAP releases, ensuring minimal impact on P2P and Inventory processes.
  • Develop and execute end-user and Power User training to promote compliance and sustainable process execution.

Your Background

  • University degree or equivalent higher education in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
  • In-depth functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA with experience in Procure-to-Pay and Inventory Management processes.
  • Strong comprehension of end-to-end process integration between P2P, Inventory, Finance Accounting, and Order-to-Cash within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience in building and governing global process standards and templates across multiple countries.
  • Proven record of driving process governance, user adherence, and change management in complex ERP environments.
  • Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration across regions and organizational levels.
  • Expertise in operational excellence and process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret KPIs and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Exceptional people skills, capable of building and enabling Power User communities.
  • Self-driven, structured, with robust communication and influencing skills.
  • International business experience and intercultural competence.
  • Fluency in English (C1 or above); additional languages are a plus.
  • A willingness to travel globally up to 5–10%.
