Position: Global Process Owner Order to Cash, Service Operations (m/f/d)
As the Global Process Owner for Order to Cash within the Service Operations team, you will define, govern, and enhance the Order-to-Cash process in the global Accelleron service network utilizing the SAP S/4HANA system. Your role will ensure that users can execute a seamless and compliant O2C process through the establishment of global standards, templates, and system capabilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for seamless order fulfillment, accurate billing, and timely invoicing by fostering process discipline, user adherence, and change management while supporting scalable, customer-centric business operations. You will work to maintain service excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, promoting a collaborative Order-to-Cash process organization and implementing the service operations strategy through global process ownership. You will report to the Team Leader & Service Business Process Manager (S/4HANA) and be part of the S/4HANA Flash Team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Act as the Global Process Owner and Subject Matter Expert for the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process, from sales order creation to invoicing and cash collection.
- Represent Order-to-Cash in cross-functional initiatives and collaborate closely with the S/4HANA Flash, CRM, Operations, and Finance teams.
- Build and nurture a strong Order-to-Cash Power User community within the Service Network, promoting distributed ownership of process execution, adoption, and expertise.
- Ensure alignment of all business processes with other process owners.
- Define KPIs to ensure consistent process adherence, monitor performance, and drive corrective actions in collaboration with designated power users.
- Collect and analyze user and customer feedback to identify areas for development and lead the execution of necessary actions.
- Work closely with IS and application owners to define IT requirements and user stories, ensuring effective support for the Order-to-Cash process in the SAP S/4HANA landscape.
- Manage global standards, including process documentation and user manuals, to facilitate automation and consistent process adoption.
- Evaluate cost-saving opportunities including feasibility and impact on product costs and capital expenditures.
- Act as the authorization owner for Requests for Change (RfCs), ensuring governance and compliance with global standards.
- Oversee business testing and final deployment of changes in collaboration with the S/4HANA Team.
- Develop and execute training for End Users and Power Users in collaboration with the global training team and Power User community.
Your Background:
- University degree or equivalent higher education in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, with hands-on experience in SD, PS, and EPPM modules; experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is advantageous.
- International business experience and intercultural competence.
- Experience in process governance, project management, process automation, or Lean Six Sigma.
- Self-driven, persistent, structured, and collaborative, with excellent communication skills.
- Experience engaging with senior management across various countries and effectively driving initiatives at all organizational levels.
- Commercial support and/or service coordination experience is preferred.
- Experience in people development, coaching, and training for Power Users and End Users is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (C1 or above); proficiency in German (B2 or above) is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel globally up to 5–10%.
