Position Overview

As the Global Process Owner Order to Cash, Service Operations (m/f/d), you will define, govern, and continuously improve the Order-to-Cash process within the global Accelleron service network using SAP S/4HANA. Your role will empower users to execute a seamless and compliant O2C process through global standards, templates, and system capabilities. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth order fulfillment, accurate billing, and timely invoicing by promoting process discipline and user adherence while enabling scalable, customer-centered business operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the Global Process Owner and Subject Matter Expert for the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process, from sales order creation to invoicing and cash collection.
  • Represent Order-to-Cash in cross-functional initiatives, working in close alignment with the S/4HANA Flash Team, CRM, Operations, and Finance organizations.
  • Build and maintain a robust Order-to-Cash Power User community within the Service Network, fostering distributed ownership of process execution and know-how.
  • Ensure the alignment of all business processes in collaboration with other process owners.
  • Define KPIs to ensure consistent process adherence, monitor performance, identify root causes, improvement opportunities, and system issues, and drive corrective actions.
  • Gather and analyze user and customer feedback to identify development needs, prioritize improvements, and lead execution of action items.
  • Collaborate with IS and application owners to define IT requirements and user stories, ensuring effective support of the Order-to-Cash process within the SAP S/4HANA landscape.
  • Manage global standards, including process documentation and user manuals, to facilitate automation and consistent process adoption.
  • Evaluate cost-saving opportunities, including feasibility and impact assessments (Business Case).
  • Act as the authorization owner for Requests for Change (RfCs) within the assigned process, ensuring compliance with global standards.
  • Facilitate business testing and final release of changes in collaboration with the S/4 HANA Team.
  • Develop and execute training for End Users and Power Users in conjunction with the Global End User Training team and the Power User community.

Your Background

  • University degree or equivalent higher education in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Advanced functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA with hands-on experience in SD, PS, and EPPM modules; experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is a plus.
  • International business experience and strong intercultural competence.
  • Experience in process governance, project management, process automation, and/or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Self-driven, persistent, structured, collaborative, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Proven experience working with senior management across various countries, effectively communicating and driving initiatives at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in commercial support and/or service coordination.
  • Desirable: experience in people development, coaching, and training of Power Users and End Users.
  • Language skills: English (C1 or above); German (B2 or above) is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel globally up to 5–10%.
