Position: Global Process Owner Order to Cash, Service Operations (m/f/d)
As the Global Process Owner for Order to Cash, Service Operations, you will define, govern, and continuously improve the Order-to-Cash process within the global Accelleron service network's SAP S/4HANA system. You will enable users to execute a seamless and compliant O2C process through global standards, templates, and system capabilities.
In this role, you will drive process discipline, user adherence, and change management to ensure seamless order fulfillment, accurate billing, and timely invoicing. Your efforts will contribute to maintaining service excellence through continuous improvement initiatives in a collaborative, team-oriented Order-to-Cash process organization.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as the Global Process Owner and Subject Matter Expert for the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process, from sales order creation to invoicing and cash collection.
- Represent Order-to-Cash in cross-functional initiatives, aligning closely with relevant organizations including S/4HANA Flash, CRM, Operations, and Finance.
- Build and maintain a strong Order-to-Cash Power User community within the Service Network to enable distributed ownership of process execution.
- Ensure alignment of all business processes in collaboration with other process owners.
- Define KPIs to monitor process adherence, identify root causes, improvement opportunities, and drive corrective actions through defined power users.
- Analyze feedback from process users and customers to prioritize development areas and lead the execution of necessary actions.
- Collaborate with IS and application owners to define IT requirements and user stories supporting the Order-to-Cash process.
- Manage global standards including process documentation and user manuals to facilitate automation and consistent process adoption.
- Evaluate cost-saving opportunities, considering feasibility and impact on product costs and capital expenditures.
- Act as authorization owner for Requests for Change (RfCs) ensuring governance and compliance with global standards.
- Ensure thorough business testing and final release of changes for deployment in collaboration with the S/4HANA Team.
- Develop and execute training for End Users and Power Users in collaboration with the training team and the Power User community.
Your Background
- University degree or equivalent higher education in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, with hands-on experience in SD, PS, and EPPM modules; experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is an advantage.
- International business experience and intercultural competence.
- Experience in process governance, project management, process automation, and/or Lean Six Sigma.
- Self-driven, collaborative, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with senior management across various countries, effectively communicating and driving initiatives.
- Experience in commercial support and/or service coordination.
- Experience in coaching and development of Power Users and End Users is a plus.
- Proficiency in English (C1 or above); knowledge of German (B2 or above) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel globally up to 5–10%.
