Your Role: Global Process Owner Order to Cash, Service Operations (m/f/d)

As the Global Process Owner for Order to Cash in our Service Operations, you will define, govern, and continuously improve the Order-to-Cash process within the global Accelleron service network utilizing the SAP S/4HANA system. You will enable users to execute a seamless and compliant O2C process through the implementation of global standards, templates, and system capabilities. This role involves ensuring seamless order fulfillment, accurate billing, and timely invoicing by driving process discipline, user adherence, and change management, while fostering scalable, customer-centric business operations.

This position reports to the Team Leader and Service Business Process Manager (S/4HANA) for Global Service Operations and is part of the S/4HANA Flash Team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the Global Process Owner and Subject Matter Expert for the complete Order-to-Cash process, from sales order creation to invoicing and cash collection.
  • Represent Order-to-Cash in cross-functional initiatives, collaborating closely with S/4HANA Flash, CRM, Operations, and Finance organizations.
  • Build and maintain a strong Order-to-Cash Power User community within the Service Network to enable distributed ownership of process execution and knowledge-sharing.
  • Ensure alignment of all business processes in coordination with other process owners.
  • Define KPIs to ensure consistent process adherence, monitor performance, identify root causes and improvement opportunities, and drive corrective actions.
  • Collect and analyze user and customer feedback to identify development areas within the process, prioritize these developments, and lead their execution.
  • Collaborate with IT and application owners to define IT requirements and user stories for effective support within the SAP S/4HANA landscape.
  • Manage a set of global standards, including process documentation and user manuals, to enable automation and consistent process adoption.
  • Evaluate cost-saving opportunities and assess their feasibility and impact on product costs.
  • Act as authorization owner for Requests for Change (RfCs) within the assigned process, ensuring adherence to governance and global standards.
  • Oversee business testing and final release of changes in collaboration with the S/4 HANA Team.
  • Develop and execute training for End Users and Power Users in collaboration with the training community.

Your Background

  • University degree or equivalent higher education in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, with hands-on experience in SD, PS, and EPPM modules; experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is an advantage.
  • International business experience and intercultural competence.
  • Experience in process governance, project management, process automation, and/or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Self-driven, structured, and collaborative, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with senior management across different countries and drive initiatives across all organizational levels.
  • Experience in commercial support and/or service coordination.
  • Preferred: experience in coaching, training, and enabling Power Users and End Users.
  • Language skills: English (C1 or above); German (B2 or above) is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel globally up to 5–10%.
