Role Overview

As a Global Marketing Manager (GMM), you will be the key partner for the Global Platform Director and stakeholders of our Protein Growth Platform. You will drive the growth of the platform by enhancing and implementing the platform strategy while continuously analyzing the global landscape, market trends, and the needs of consumers and customers. You will take ownership of the marketing plans, ensuring compelling value propositions for key icons, applications, and technologies, and bring them to life through effective marketing initiatives tailored to regional needs. Additionally, you will provide marketing support to high-profile accounts, enabling a superior omnichannel customer experience, and actively participate in Customer Foresight projects.

Reporting Structure

You will report to the Global Strategic Marketing Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Activate Growth Platform (50%)
    • Own the Global Marketing Plan: Lead the development of the growth platform's global marketing plan in close collaboration with regional teams, including promotions, cross-regional initiatives, thought leadership programs, and external events.
    • Provide Strategic Recommendations: Offer strategic insights and challenge existing platform strategies to enhance effectiveness while staying updated on market trends.
    • Develop Value Propositions: Create compelling value propositions supported by consumer and customer validation.
    • Drive Commercialization of Innovations: Oversee the commercialization process for innovations from the S&T roadmap, working closely with Global Product Managers.
    • Create Engaging Content: Develop captivating content for external communication campaigns in collaboration with Communication Directors.
    • Build Community: Nurture the Growth Platform community with regions and Business Units (BUs) to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration.
    • Support Key Accounts: Create and provide tailored marketing materials and strategic input for high-profile accounts.
    • Assist Customer Projects: Provide marketing support for selected customer projects, collaborating with account managers to ensure successful execution.
  • Lead Digital Marketing Initiatives (50%)
    • Oversee the Flavour Vision Program: Lead a state-of-the-art trend program leveraging the latest digital developments.
    • Drive Marketing & Comms Automation: Contribute to the Marketing & Communications Automation program and set direction for the Astra platform's development.
    • Support Strategic Marketing Initiatives: Own the sales enablement platform “Marketplace” and support brand management for non-technical assets.

Your Profile

You should have a marketing degree and at least 5 years of professional experience in marketing within a regional or global context. Experience in digital marketing or marketing automation is an advantage. You will need strategic and commercial thinking, creativity, and the ability to manage complex projects. Your seniority will enable you to represent the company in front of customers and drive decisions up to top management.

  • High expertise and advanced marketing vision in the food & beverages markets.

  • Experience in community management and building.
  • Creativity in your approach, originating ideas and selling them internally with support from your manager.
  • Comfort interacting with diverse groups, both functional and geographical.
