Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced Global Logistics Manager (m/f/d) to join our client, F. Hoffmann–La Roche Ltd., in supporting the Global Supply Chain Operations & Logistics organization at the Kaiseraugst site. In this pivotal role, you will manage global logistics operations, ensuring the timely, compliant, and cost-effective distribution of drug products across international markets.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating supply, inventory, and replenishment flows, acting as a key interface between manufacturing sites, affiliates, and external partners. You will oversee end-to-end distribution processes—from product release to final delivery—while ensuring on-time and in-full performance. Proactively monitoring supply chain performance, resolving operational issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives are also key facets of this position.

Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional and global stakeholders, leveraging data-driven insights for decision-making, optimizing logistics processes, and maintaining high service levels across the network. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to Roche’s global supply chain by ensuring seamless logistics execution and enhancing a resilient, agile, and customer-focused distribution network.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Ensure products are delivered on time, in full, and in a compliant manner.
• Manage international distribution, logistics, and trade operations.
• Monitor stock availability and execute transfer and order to cash processes.
• Drive performance monitoring of supply chain operations.
• Manage and resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
• Optimize transportation and logistics for enhanced operations.

Must Haves

• Minimum 3-5 years of supply chain and/or logistics experience in the pharma industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or APICS certification (or equivalent) are strong assets.
• Solid knowledge of SAP MM/SD transactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Data-driven mindset.
• Demonstrated strategic agility and adaptability to changing circumstances.
• Goal-oriented with a strong focus on achieving results and accountability for commitments.
