Position Overview

The Global Head of Renewable Fuels Sales will play a critical role in driving the global sales strategy for our renewable fuels. This senior leadership position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the biofuels industry. The successful candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, the ability to lead and inspire a global sales team, and the capability to engage personally in high-stakes sales discussions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Lead global sales efforts for Renewable Fuels.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives, focusing on expanding into high-value markets globally.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.

Market Expansion and Development

  • Leverage knowledge of the Renewable Fuels market to position the company as an industry leader.
  • Explore and develop new markets for Renewable Fuels, particularly in the biochemical and renewable energy sectors.

Sales Execution

  • Actively participate in and initiate high-level sales discussions, negotiations, and deal-making activities.
  • Ensure that sales processes are efficient and effective, adapting to the evolving needs of the business as it grows.
  • Provide strategic insights and guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial and senior leaders to align sales efforts with the overall commercial strategy.
  • Adapt to a dynamic and evolving organizational environment, contributing to the development of tools, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the biofuels industry, with a strong focus on renewable energy.
  • Proven track record of leadership in a sales or commercial role, demonstrating success in driving growth and market expansion.

Skills

  • Deep understanding of the global Renewable Fuels market, including key drivers, trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
  • Excellent English language skills, enabling clear and persuasive communication of complex ideas.

Leadership

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to build, inspire, and lead a global sales team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with processes and tools that are still under development.
