Your Contribution
- Lead and coordinate global governance activities and tools to ensure Tecan's global master data processes comply with industry regulations for laboratory equipment.
- Ensure efficient data lifecycle management for Material, Customer, and Vendor Master Data across all relevant sites within the group.
- Supervise local Data Management teams for operational activities in Switzerland, Austria, and other locations as the organization evolves.
- Oversee the global Data Management team for governance on Material and Business Partner processes and tools.
- Define, implement, and govern data policies and standards for data population in SAP ERP and satellite systems.
- Monitor and control master data quality, conduct inspections, and coordinate cleaning activities with data owners to maintain high-quality master data domains; report KPI and DQI in monthly reports.
- Implement the master data governance tool with integration into satellite systems within Tecan's system architecture.
- Continuously enhance the data entry process and ensure data completeness and accuracy with data owners.
- Continuously improve the product configurator process for creation and maintenance, guaranteeing proper documentation and service continuity.
Your Background
- A university degree in engineering or business management.
- Certification in master data management.
- Experience in master data management within a matrix organization and multi-site environment.
- Project management experience for master data governance tool implementation or ERP implementation.
- Expertise in Business Partner management in an S/4 environment.
- Knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA for MM and PP modules, including master data governance tools and material master data tables and fields.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including macros for data extraction and analysis.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with German language skills as a plus.
- An outgoing attitude with a strong sense of ownership to deliver results.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to persuade stakeholders at all levels.
