Join Our Team as a Business Unit Assistant Controller
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our PGGA team in Baden as a Business Unit Assistant Controller. In this pivotal role, you will support the CFO of our Global Business Unit Grid Automation. Reporting directly to the BU CFO, you will provide supervisory and reporting expertise that enhances the financial health of our organization. Your responsibilities will include compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and deviations, communicating insights to relevant stakeholders, and recommending actions to improve financial performance.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support and develop global BU Controlling, including monthly and quarterly reporting cycles and budgeting processes.
- Collaborate closely with the BU CFO, BU Manager, and all HUBs and GPGs within PGGA on financial reporting topics.
- Support the BU Global Sales Function and BU Cost Centre Controlling.
- Coordinate periodic business planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
- Analyze business performance and provide decision support by utilizing our digital core.
- Ensure strong governance on HSE, internal control, integrity, and compliance.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related disciplines; preference for graduates of a Finance Trainee Program.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Project Controller or Unit Controller with a strong focus on financial modeling, reporting, and forecasting.
- Proficient in SAP S/4HANA CO module.
- Familiarity with FARM (Financial Accounting and Reporting Guidelines).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to build your own reports and models.
- Proficient in MS Excel, BI, and other MS Office applications.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and oral.
- A self-starter capable of planning and managing your own work based on broad task definitions.
