Join Our Team as a Business Unit Assistant Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our PGGA team in Baden as a Business Unit Assistant Controller. In this role, you will support the CFO of our Global Business Unit Grid Automation. Reporting directly to the BU CFO, you will play a crucial role in providing supervising and reporting expertise by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and deviations, communicating insights to relevant stakeholders, and recommending actions to enhance financial performance.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support and develop global BU Controlling, including monthly and quarterly reporting cycles and budget processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the BU CFO, the BU Manager, and all HUBs and GPGs within PGGA on all financial reporting topics.
  • Support the BU Global Sales Function and BU Cost Centre Controlling.
  • Coordinate periodical business planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Analyze business performance and provide decision support using our digital core.
  • Ensure strong governance on HSE, internal control, integrity, and compliance.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related disciplines; a graduate of a Finance Trainee Program is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Project Controller or Unit Controller, with a strong focus on financial modeling, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Strong command of SAP S/4HANA CO module.
  • Familiarity with FARM (Financial Accounting and Reporting Guidelines).
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to create reports and models independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, BI, and other MS Office applications.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral.
  • Self-starter capable of planning and managing your own work based on broad task definitions.
